This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use WiFi Signal Meter (package name: com.wifimeter.app, the "App") and how it is handled.
The App can be used without creating an account or signing in. The developer does not collect or store personally identifying information such as your name or email address. However, the following information may be collected automatically by our advertising provider in order to serve ads:
The App requests precise location and nearby devices permissions in order to scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks. This is because the Android operating system protects access to Wi-Fi scan results behind the location permission — not because the App needs to determine or track where you are.
Everything the App works with — measured signal strengths, location labels you type (e.g. "Bedroom", "Living room"), nearby network scan results, and app settings — is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer's servers or to any third party. It is deleted when you uninstall the App.

You can reset your advertising identifier or limit personalized advertising in your device settings. Users in the European Economic Area and other applicable regions are shown a consent prompt regarding ad personalization when the App starts.
The App contacts the developer's server to retrieve its ad display configuration. Only the app package name is sent; no personally identifying information and no measurement data is transmitted.
The following information is sent to the developer's server only when you actively submit it from the "Send feedback" screen in the App's settings. Nothing is sent if you do not submit feedback.
This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and to fix problems. It is never used for advertising purposes or sold to third parties.
Measurement reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, and only if you turn them on in settings. No information is transmitted for this purpose.
Data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App. Feedback you submit is retained only for the purpose of handling your inquiry, and is deleted once resolved or upon your request.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
